Summer Newsletter

·         Thank you to all children who have brought in their sun creams. And thankyou to all parents who apply the sun cream before coming to nursery. It is imperative that your child has sun cream applied to them to enable them to play outdoors for a substantial part of their day.

·         We are holding our annual sponsored Teddy Bear Toddle on Wednesday 28th June. Please can all children bring in a labelled teddy on this day. We are aiming, in line with Government initiatives, that we complete half a Kilometre, which is approximately 13 laps of the nursery garden. Please can you return all forms and any sponsor money by Monday 3rd July.

·         The last day for funded children will be Thursday 20th July. There will not be funded nursery in the morning, however we will be holding a Bug party from 2-4pm for all children to attend. Please can your child dress up/wear a hat/pyjamas that have some sort of bug on them? This ties in with their recent topic of Minibeasts.

·         We once again thank you for supporting the following charities this year:

Children In Need              £87=50

Wear It Pink                       £136=00

Macmillan                           £33=50

·         We have replenished our suggestion form folder on the parents notice board, please feel free to take one!

·         We are still collecting newspapers, if you have any, we would be very grateful to receive them

·         A Rising Threes evening has been arranged on Tuesday 27th June at 5pm. This will enable parents to see what our wonderful children do during nursery hours and to talk about the Government funding your child can receive the term after their third birthday. Please can you complete the form below to confirm your attendance. If this date is not suitable please see Mrs Smith or Mrs Cole who can help you with this.

I will/will not be attending the Rising Threes evening on June 27th, 2017
