Spring Newsletter 2017

  • The children have thoroughly enjoyed the St David’s Day celebrations, especially visiting the residents of Danygraig Nursing home to give them traditional daffodils and to sing Welsh songs. This can be viewed on the nursery Twitter. Thank you for dressing your children in Welsh costumes, they certainly looked fantastic.

 

  • Thank you to all those parents who have made wonderful model dragons in keeping with our topic of St David’s day and celebrating our Welsh heritage.

 

  •  Please find enclosed raffle tickets for our Easter raffle. These need to be returned by Wednesday 5th April for the draw on Thursday 6th April. Any Easter egg donations will be very gratefully received.

 

  •  We will be having our Easter Bonnet competition on week beginning 3rd April, please can you bring your Easter bonnets in as soon as they are made? Bonnets, caps, etc, feel free to show your creative side!!!!

 

  • During the run up to Easter we will be holding our Easter egg hunts, which have always been enjoyable

 

            Easter closing dates for your diary:

 

Funding will finish for the Easter break on Thursday 6th April and will commence on Monday 24th April.

Nursery will be closed to all children on Friday 14th April for Good Friday and Monday 17th April for Easter Monday.

Dates for your diary

  • Seats to Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm are going quickly, therefore all those who requested to go to Noah’s Ark please can I have your forms and payment asap to avoid disappointment.
  • The Summer fete will be held on Saturday 1st July between 11:00am and 1:00pm (more information to follow)
  •  Bath shopping trip has been arranged for Saturday 4th November.

 

Financial changes

As you are aware our fees remain extremely competitive, even though other costs are constantly increasing. With this in mind we have kept our annual fee review results as low as possible. This can only be achieved with your help in paying your fees on time and in advance. Please can you not forget to alter your direct debits.

The following fee structure will be implemented from April 3rd 2017:

 

Full time 8:00am-6:00pm Monday to Friday                         £160=00

Full day   8:00am-6:00pm                                                       £38=00

Morning session 8:00am-1:00pm                                           £23=50           

Afternoon session 1:00pm-6:00pm                                        £23=50           

School drop off           £9=00              School pick up             £11=00

7:30am opening          £4=00
