Autumn Newsletter

Welcome to all our new starters. Just a little note to reassure you if there is anything that you are not sure about within the nursery, I am available at all times.

***

Order forms for uniforms are available in the reception area. Mynametags forms are also available for your convenience as all clothing should be clearly labelled.

***

We are developing a “Celebration of living in Newport” board; therefore we would be very grateful if you could send in any pictures of your child visiting places of interest within Newport.

***

You will be receiving a Smarties tube at the end of September. The idea of this is to eat the delicious smarties, then fill the tube with money. The person with the most amount of money will win a prize. All monies raised will be put towards our forthcoming Christmas events.

***

We will once again be supporting the Wear It Pink campaign, so please can all children dress or bring in something pink at a cost of £2. This event will be held on Tuesday 21st October.

***

The Bath shopping trip is on Saturday 1st November; if you haven’t received a letter regarding this please let me know.

***

Half term for government funded children is Monday 27th October to Friday 31st October. There won’t be nursery for these children during this week. Nursery is open as usual for all other children.

***

Every year we support the Samaritans Purse shoebox appeal, we will be sending leaflets regarding this as soon as they arrive.

***

For Father’s day we sent home a sunflower seed for you to grow, if you have any photos of yours, please send them in indicating their height. The tallest sunflower will win a prize. We need these photos in by Monday 22nd September.

Thank you all for your continuing support

K Smith
